WAML Scholarship Application 2018
The Western Association of Map Libraries (WAML) is excited to announce two WAML scholarships to attend the 2018 annual WAML conference: a Diversity Scholarship and an Early Career Librarian Scholarship. The conference will be held in San Diego, California on September 12-15, 2018. Each scholarship includes a stipend of $750 for costs related to the conference (lodging, travel, etc.), a one-year membership in WAML, and free conference registration and banquet ticket. Mentorship is an important component of these scholarships: each recipient will be paired with a mentor for the conference and the following year to help provide support and additional engagement.

The application deadline is Wednesday, July 11, 11:59 PM (PDT). Applicants may ask to be considered for one or both scholarships, but cannot receive both in the same year. Please see the scholarship announcement at http://www.waml.org/mbrinfo.html#Scholarships for descriptions of the scholarships and eligibility requirements.
