SACs are asked to assess student learning outcomes for continual program improvement, as part of PCC's accreditation requirements.
Additionally, PCC promises that all PCC graduates will have increased competence in all 6 core outcomes.
CTE (Career/Technical Education) SACs assess the outcomes of their degrees and certificates, after they have mapped them to the core outcomes.
LDC (Lower Division Collegiate) SACs assess the core outcomes directly.
