The associated costs will be covered by the Roshen Nair Foundation. It's worth noting that the foundation is already covering the expenses for players from low-income families.
Also as a promotion to female players, if a female player wins half or more of their games in any of our tournaments, they will get a FREE entry in the following month's tournament. There is no cap on the number of free entries, but it's important to note that these entries must be utilized in the upcoming month's tournament and cannot be carried over.
Eligibility: All scholastic players, K-12. However, parents are allowed to play if your kids are playing in the same tournament. We always make sure family members are not paired against each other so that they can gain maximum outside experience.
Format: 4-round USCF-Rated (Nationally rated) Chess Swiss Tournament. Open to all scholastic chess players.
