We have a new way for folks to volunteer in the garden - adopting a garden bed!
What does this mean?
When you adopt a garden bed, you're signing up to take care of a raised garden bed throughout the summer. This will include watering, some light weeding, and generally keeping on eye on how the plants are doing.
Do I need to be good at gardening to sign up?
No! We will show you everything you need to know in order to care for your bed. We will also be available all summer to answer your questions.
How much time does this take?
We expect volunteers to visit their beds at least once a week. Each visit can take as little as 30 minutes - in just a half an hour, you can help make a big difference in our garden!
Can I sign up with my group?
Sure! Please answer "Yes" to the group question below.
Ready? Sign up below!
We will contact you after you submit the form from our email address, ohpeacegarden@gmail.com. If you do not see a message from us soon after you submit, please check your spam and/or email us.

The Old Highland Peace Garden is located at 1803 Emerson Ave N in North Minneapolis.
We are a communal garden with no individualized plots, which means anyone can
enjoy the garden and fresh food, regardless of their volunteer status.
Do you have a request for disability, language, and/or other kinds of access in the garden? Please email us at ohpeacegarden@gmail.com. Access to our garden is imperfect, and we're ready to work with you to help make the space more accessible.
