Language Adventures After School Spanish Immersion Program- Enrollment Form for 2019-2020
Dear D23 Families!

Language Adventures is thrilled to be part of another academic year with District 23. Our teachers have enjoyed their time with your kids so much. It is wonderful to see how they have progressed in the Spanish language. We look forward to a productive partnership with you to help our children achieve their highest potential. We know a strong partnership will make a great difference in your children's education. Language Adventures will do its very best to provide the most engaging, stimulating and highly effective world language classes to your kids.

We will be offering World language enrichment programs for students at Eisenhower (K-1st grade), Betsy Ross (2nd-3rd grade) and Anne Sullivan (4th-5th grade) schools starting the week of September 16th! Enrollment for Language Adventures Spanish Immersion classes will begin on Tuesday, May 21st and will close on Thursday, September 12th (or when all classes have reached their maximum number of students, 15 kids per class).  Wait lists will be established if interest exceeds space in each class.

Classes are held after school from 2:30pm-3:15pm. We will begin with Monday classes at each school.  Once Monday classes are filled, we will open classes on other days. Other days of the week will be offered once Monday classes fill up but not guaranteed. A class calendar, workbook and homework materials will be provided to each participant.

Enrollments are on a first come, first serve basis.  Although partially sponsored/supported by the PTO, the cost to participate is for families participating in early enrollment is $15 per class ($450 total for 30 weeks of instruction).  *Enrollment fees are due September 4th and can be paid in one of two ways:

Payments made after the early enrollment period will be $480.

*Please note that any parent/guardian who signs up to be a "parent volunteer" will have HALF of their child's fee waived by Language Adventures!  This parent volunteer opportunity is also on a first come, first serve basis as there are limited spots. Responsibilities for the parent volunteer include: (a) meeting the children in the classroom, (b) assisting the Language Adventures teacher with bathroom breaks or behavioral challenges, (c) communicating with the participants' parents by email, (d) ensuring that all students are safely released after class (via their previously established transportation plan) and (e) attendance at each class for the 30 week program.

Make Up Policy
Language Adventures is committed to your satisfaction. Our make-up policy is very flexible in order to align with your schedule. Please contact us if you know your child will be absent and we can arrange a make-up class. Language Adventures is not able to credit, refund or prorate missed classes.

Flexible Options for Make-ups:

We have many options to consider for scheduling make-ups, in any language, for any child during the Academic Year:
 
- Attending on a different day in D23 schools
- Attending at Language Adventures center, for every two classes missed at D23, students can attend one 85 min length class .
Cancellation Policy
The program covers 30 classes. Language Adventure’s reimbursement policy is as follows:

o    50% of the tuition for the remaining classes when a family cancels in the first 9 weeks of the session.

o    No reimbursement if the student has been enrolled for at least 10 weeks in the session.
