CPT meeting April 12-14 - Abstract Submission Form + Registration
The Climate Process Team on Ocean Transport and Eddy Energy (https://ocean-eddy-cpt.github.io) is convening a workshop on theory, observations, modeling, and parameterization of mesoscale turbulence in the ocean. This meeting will advance our understanding of this topic by bringing together scientists at the forefront of high-resolution modeling and research, development, and applications.

The specific objectives of the workshop include:
- share recent ideas, approaches, and results related to mesoscale turbulence and energetics;
- discuss current knowledge gaps and solutions related to observing, modeling, and parameterizing mesoscale turbulence;
- continue scientific community building and the exchange of perspectives, to improve ocean parameterizations of mesoscale eddies in climate models.

This will be a hybrid meeting with in-person and remote attendees. We have limited capacity for in-person attendance so priority for in-person abstracts will be given to early career researchers. In-person attendees will be subject to appropriate health policies, primarily following local and University mask requirements, which can be found here (local: https://www.bouldercounty.org/families/disease/covid-19-information/boulder-county-status/) and here (University https://www.colorado.edu/covid-19).

The deadline for abstract submission is March 8th 2022 (12pm MST).
