Citizens Committee Volunteer Application
Thank you for your interest in joining the Cen-Tex Sustainable Communities Partnership (CSCP) Citizens Committee! Applications will be reviewed as they are received. Information disclosed on this application or any other attached document may be disclosed in public meetings (personal contact information will be kept confidential).

The Citizens Committee will serve as a liaison between the CSCP and their local community and promote the goals of the Partnership (Quality of Life, Development, Natural Resources, Transportation and Education).

The Citizens Committee shall be comprised of non-voting members from each of the following cities: Fort Hood, Copperas Cove, Harker Heights, Gatesville, Killeen, Lampasas, Nolanville and Salado. The term of office for each member shall be two years. The Citizens Committee shall notify the Staff Committee of any vacancy occurring on the Citizens Committee. Member(s) of any vacancy occurring on the Committee and the vacancy will be filled by a Member represented.

Citizens Committee volunteers will serve in an ex-officio (non-voting) capacity. You are expected to participate in and spearhead community outreach, assist with Staff Committee assigned tasks, and help with any other duties that may be required. You must volunteer at least one (1) outreach event within one (1) calendar year or provide substantial support to the organization. Are you able to fulfill these responsibilities? *
As a member of the Citizens Committee you are expected to participate in monthly phone meetings with the full group. You must participate in at least 9 of these meetings within one calendar year to remain active on the Citizen's Committee. Are you able to fulfill these responsibilities? *
