The SpiritGroup Advisory Committee is excited to offer an online summit for SpiritGroup Program Leaders and SpiritGroup hosts across North America! The event will be on Friday August 15th from 7 to 9 pm Central time, and from on Saturday August 16th from 9:30 am to 5:45 pm Central time. We are aiming to have material of interest to all, whether you are brand new to your leadership role in SpiritGroups or whether you have been participating for many years.
If there is more than one person attending from your church or spiritual center, we encourage you to congregate for a watch party, and to watch a single monitor together for portions of the program. There will be several breakout sessions, so each person is strongly encouraged to bring another device with them (laptop, ipad, or phone) so that each person is prepared to attend the breakout sessions separately, preferably in a different room of your building, or outside.
We are planning an enjoyable and engaging program that will be formatted similar to a SpiritGroup, with inspiration, leadership training, renewal, connection, and fun. The program includes a service project, and we will close with a brief dance party. On Friday evening, we will be looking for volunteers to lead Saturday's opening and closing prayer.
