Organized in conjunction with the annual conference of The International Association of Sound and Audiovisual Archives (IASA) and hosted by ʻUluʻulu: The Henry Kuʻualoha Giugni Moving Image Archive of Hawai'i, this one-day workshop centers community building and the preservation of audiovisual collections. It will bring together archivists and community volunteers to support the preservation of an audiovisual collection of the Center for Oral History (COH) at University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa, which collects, documents, preserves, and highlights the recollections of Native Hawaiians and the multi-ethnic people of Hawaiʻi.
