2020 Neighborhood Summit Call for Speakers
2020 Neighborhood Summit
Saturday March 14, 2020 Xavier University Cintas Center

My Neighborhood Counts. Everybody Counts

The theme for the 2020 Neighborhood Summit is “My Neighborhood Counts. Everybody Counts,” to recognize the 2020 Census year and expand upon the importance that all neighborhoods and all people’s voices count. The theme stresses the importance of not overlooking every voice, person, and place. We all count. To be counted is to matter, to have a voice, to be active, and to be engaged in ways that make a difference. There are many ways we engage in civic life that make our needs visible, our voices heard, and our community empowered.

Tracts for the 2020 Summit will include volunteering, civic engagement, equitable and inclusive opportunities, community initiatives and collective action.

Speaker proposals will be evaluated on how they address the theme and tracks. Please tell us how your session idea fits. We encourage multi-speaker sessions and/or panels with time for audience interaction or discussion. Let us know if this is a presentation, panel, or a workshop

The call for speakers will close Monday, Nov 11 2019
