VACE 2021 Call for Programs
Please complete the proposal form no later than January 31, 2021. Program proposals will be reviewed and decisions will be made by the week of February 1, 2021. The virtual conference will be held April 20-23, 2021.-

The theme for this year’s VACE Virtual Conference is:

VACE 2021: The Year of the Pivot

Program proposals for the annual conference will be evaluated and selected with this theme in mind. The goal is to offer conference attendees a comprehensive variety of topical, current, innovative, and relevant sessions from which to choose. VACE Member surveys have indicated topics of interest to be:

Diversity Equity and Inclusion
Self Care for students, partners, and/or the self
Best practices for Budgeting in a COVID Economy
Best practices in Recruiting
Best practices in Employer Engagement
Best practices for engaging and motivating students in events and with social media
Best practices for Virtual Programming
Managing the job search process in a COVID job market
Current issues employers are facing and how colleges can meet needs
Non-traditional students: counseling, employers, hiring
Leadership training
Advancing within one's profession during a pandemic
Planning for a post-COVID job market

Be sure to include all requested program information clearly. Submitted programs should be engaging to either college career professionals, employers, or both, with clearly defined benefits for attendees.
