WHAT IS THE ACTION COUNCIL?
According to our By-Laws, there is a minimum of 5, maximum of 15 people on Action Council.
The Action Council meets monthly on the 2nd Monday of every month from 7:00 - 9:00pm. The Action Council is responsible for moving the policies and strategic plans of Bridgeport Generation Now forward and representing the membership. Attendance at all Action Council meetings is required (unless excused) and members of the Action Council must attend at least four Member Meetings per year.
To serve on the Action Council, you must be a Core Member for at least one month in good standing. Good standing means you've paid your dues and attended at least four member meetings (or on track to attend) for your year.

WHO CAN SERVE ON THE ACTION COUNCIL?You can serve on Action Council if you are a Core Member of Bridgeport Generation Now in good standing. You can nominate yourself or another Core Member for any position. All nominations are public.
WHO CAN VOTE AT THE ANNUAL MEETING?You can vote in the Action Council elections at the Annual Meeting if you are an official Core Member of Bridgeport Generation Now (must be a member for at least 1 month and in good standing)
