Freelance Writer: Composition, Rhetoric, Writing
Writing is a part of our everyday lives, and many people underestimate the value of knowing composition and rhetorical techniques. Writing is filled with nuance and is a key part of helping people express their voices and be understood. We're looking for a person with a deep understanding and passion for the subject who is interested in writing video scripts about writing!

At Complexly, we make videos that help our audiences develop a nuanced and complex view of the world around us. This project will be similar to Crash Course, one of our most renowned channels, which invites students, teachers, and lifelong learners to understand subjects they might have had trouble with or are curious to learn more about.

As our freelance writer, you'll be asked to work with our consultant and editor to write 12-20 episodes for this composition, rhetoric, and writing series, including providing illustrations or reference images to assist the animation team. Every script you write should be accurate and engaging for our audience. You should have both academic and working knowledge of writing techniques, and you should be able to communicate concepts verbally because these scripts are going to be read aloud. You don't just love writing, but you also love thinking about methods of written communication.

If this sounds like you, apply for this position by November 18th!
