Apply to play at LMF2021
Applications are now open for acts who wish to perform at the 2021 LANCASTER MUSIC FESTIVAL which will take place between Thursday 14th and Sunday 17th October 2020.

We will consider applications for the stages that we program and we will also forward suitable applications to participating venues who book acts directly (direct venue bookings account for over 95% of gigs at the festival). There are expected to be over 40 venues, ranging from cafes and pubs to churches and halls with capacities from 50 to 250 approximately. All genres of music will be considered. We very much look forward to hearing your submissions.

NOTES:
1. Acts that have existing relationships with participating venues are advised to apply directly to the venue rather than via this form.
2. The closing date for applications is 30th June 2021. We aim to inform successful applicants by 31st July 2021.
3. There is no fee to apply.
4. All acts performing at LMF will be paid, in most cases directly by the venue.
5. If you applied in 2020 you DO NOT need to apply again as we already have your application.
6. The festival is primarily interested in artists performing original live music.
7. Acts must pay for their own travel costs to Lancaster.
8. Our plans may be forced to change in order to comply with any Covid restrictions that come into force, including cancellation of the event. Please follow our social media channels for updates.

Links to your music
If possible please provide a link to a minimum of THREE professional-quality audio or video files to allow us to review your act. PLEASE NOTE the following when choosing your tracks to be reviewed:
We can only judge your application based on the music in the links you provide and we do not have the resources to go looking beyond those links. The tracks submitted must reflect the line-up that will appear at the festival. We are less likely to book acts that supply links to less than THREE tracks or submit poor-quality videos of live performances recorded on smartphones. If you provide a link to a channel or page, such as Spotify, Soundcloud or Youtube, we will review the first three tracks as they appear on that channel or page.
