" Let World of Silence be Heard"

Sehubungan dengan ini, kami menganjurkan larian amal sempena sambutan World Hearing Day pertama di Johor dengan tema " Let World of Silence be Heard"

World Health Organisation (WHO) estimated there were 250 million people across the globe has hearing loss; which equal to 3 in 1000 babies born with hearing impairment (WHO 1999). This figure is expected to be closer to 900 million in 2050.

World Hearing Day is annual advocacy event which held on 3rd March each year, starting year of 2007 after it was first launched by World Health Organisation (WHO) in Beijing. The aim of this day is to raise awareness regarding hearing loss, and to promote ear and hearing care at national and community level across the world. Our first World Hearing Day celebrated on 2017, held in small scale event in each hospital which has audiology and otorhinolaryngology (ORL) services.
