Esalen Scholarship Application
Dear Future Participant,
Thank you for your interest in coming to Esalen Institute. Participation in Esalen programs and community can be an impactful and significant experience. All scholarships are partial as funds are limited. Unfortunately, not everyone who applies will receive a scholarship, but all will be carefully considered. Resources for scholarships come from a portion of Esalenʼs annual income, direct scholarship donations from Friends of Esalen, and occasional grants. If you find yourself in a different financial position in the future, please consider donating back to this fund to give someone else the opportunity to participate.
A vital part of Esalenʼs mission is to help those seeking to acquire the skills and knowledge to transform their lives and the world at large. Esalen is committed to making this possible through need-based scholarships.
Our scholarship funds are limited, so awards will be made to those who will take what they have learned back to their homes, workplaces and communities.
We allow one scholarship per person per year.
Although personal growth is an essential step towards social transformation, almost all of our workshop scholarships are reserved for individuals who will use the information they gain to impact social change.
