Bagchi School of Public Health brings you a seminar on "Cancer Screening in India: Strategies for Early Detection and Prevention."

Dr. Vishal Choksi, Senior Head and Neck Cancer Surgeon, will discuss advancements in early diagnosis, treatment options, and preventive measures for cancer in India. Ms. Jagriti Gupta, Biostatistician at the Bagchi School of Public Health, will provide insights into the relative occurrence of major cancers in India and present screening recommendations based on age and gender.

This talk will focus on cancer screening recommendations and implementation strategies within the Indian healthcare context and address the most prevalent cancers in India. Special emphasis will be placed on cost-effective screening approaches suitable for both urban and rural settings.
