Share your story! (Voices of History)

Voices of History: Stories from Black Pennsylvanians, a groundbreaking PA Humanities 50th anniversary initiative, launched in Pittsburgh in June 2024 in partnership with the August Wilson House. Now this innovative program is coming to Erie, PA with Erie's Black Wall Street. We will collect and celebrate the stories, family histories, struggles, and triumphs of Black Pennsylvanians throughout the state. Stories will be preserved in an online statewide archive.

Story Circles will take place at 11am on Saturday November 16, 2024 and 6pm on Wednesday November 20, 2024

Where: The Historical Institute of Culture and the African American Experience (HICAAE). 315 E. 9th st Erie, PA 16503
