Thank you for your interest in Stonewall DFL's endorsement. Please fill out this form to indicate your interest for endorsement of the Stonewall DFL community caucus for the 2022 electoral cycle.
The Stonewall DFL community caucus has a set of guidelines to be met by any candidate or campaign seeking the Stonewall DFL endorsement:
-Candidates will respect and adhere to any rules or guidelines set forth by the Political Support Committee, Board, or Membership when presenting, participating in Q&A’s, attending forums, interviewing, etc.
-All candidates must embrace the spirit of the DFL Affirmative Action, Outreach, and Inclusion Statement.
-Results of any non-binding votes by Membership, the Board, or the Political Support Committee can only be published if the candidate or campaign includes this disclaimer: “These results are non-binding and are not an endorsement.” Campaigns should contact the Stonewall DFL chair for approval of published statements on non-binding results.
-The Board has the right to dispute statements released after an official endorsement, in consultation with the Political Support Committee, if the release does not meet expectations or intentions of the caucus and its members.
-Campaign managers should not vote on endorsements. All members must declare all conflicts of interest in the Political Support Committee or the Board.
-For any non-campaign staff to vote on the Stonewall political support committee recommendation for endorsement, they must be an active dues paying member 10 days before the candidate screening. We will begin screening between April 1st - April 9th.
