An Afternoon with Larry and Elaine

Larry and Elaine Conger, directors of the acclaimed Dulcimer U at Western Carolina University, lead workshops and perform at festivals across the country. Larry has won the prestigious National Mountain Dulcimer Championship in Winfield, Kansas while Elaine brings her extensive Nashville experience and talent to the duo.

Larry has authored fifteen dulcimer books and has numerous recordings to his credit. Elaine and Larry are well known for their meticulously crafted dulcimer duets, featuring Larry on standard dulcimer and Elaine on bass dulcimer.
Duet Workshops and Concert - Sunday, February 16, 2020
Workshop 1 - 1:30- 3:00pm
Workshop 2 - 3:30-5:00pm

DINNER - 6:00pm - open to the public - Please contact the Center directly to make your dinner reservation, 352-475-1326. Dinners are a fund-raising event for the Center and all proceeds support programs offered there.

CONCERT at 7:00pm - open to the public - a portion of the concert proceeds supports the Melrose Center
