Application: New York Poor People's Campaign People's Assembly, Oct. 16-18, 2020 (Online via Zoom)
NOTE: Sept. 14 was the deadline to apply and we are no longer accepting applications.
The 3rd NYS PPC People's Assembly will take place online Friday, Oct. 16 - Sunday, Oct. 18. This gathering is for current members and leaders of the NYS Poor People's Campaign and those looking to get more involved!
The Assembly program will include time for political education, story-sharing, community building, skills workshops, and planning the NYS PPC's next steps - as well as a public digital Mass Meeting featuring national co-chairs Rev. Dr. William Barber and Rev. Dr. Liz Theoharis.
We've developed a short application because we have limited space and want to ensure diverse regional and demographic representation. Please apply by September 14! Contact newyork@poorpeoplescampaign.org with any questions.
