Join CIES for a trip to Rochester, MN in celebration of Utsav: Festival of Colors, a vibrant celebration of the rich cultural heritage of the Asian Indian community. Enjoy delicious food, captivating dance performances, mesmerizing music, join the color throw and explore an array of products available for browsing.
We will start the day with lunch at an Indian restaurant, spend a few hours at the Apache mall, and end the afternoon at the Utsav festival.
CIES is charging $5 to cover the event ticket, lunch and transportation. Please pay to the CIES office. If you would like to shop, please bring your own funds.
*Please note: If you would like to participate in the color throw, you will want to bring a change of clothes as you'll be covered in colors afterwards.*
Date: Saturday, July 19th.
Departure from the Dahl Centennial Union at 10:30 AM.
Return to campus by approximately 8 PM.
