What is Relay for Life?
Relay for Life is a community based fundraising event of the American Cancer Society. Each year more than 5,000 Relay for Life events take place in over twenty countries.

When is Relay for Life?
MAY 20th (Saturday) @ UC San Diego track and field stadium @ 1:15 PM.

How can I join the MAPS team?
MAPS is participating in Relay for Life this year, where we will be raising money for the cancer foundation by selling refreshments at the event & running the track! This is a great opportunity for us to give back to the community, complete community service hours, and more importantly combat cancer!  If you are interested in joining our amazing team, then you can register through the Relay4Life link, and you will be prompted to pay a $10 registration fee which goes towards your free cancer run shirt and donation to cancer organization (and if not, you can still come volunteer at the event):

(Instructions: once you have made and account through Relay for Life link, you will be prompted to join a team. Select MAPS in the drop-down menu. Then, you will be asked to pay $10 fee to finish your registration process.)

Study Jam Afterwards!
After Relay for Life,  MAPS have a study jam at Geisel from 2PM-5PM 1st Floor West 1042 and 1045. (We will be headed there together as a group). Light snacks provided!
