Govanhill Open Museum
Govanhill Open Museum, a new community-led heritage project, will bring local memories out to our neighbourhood’s streets and make heritage a part of our residents' everyday lives.

There are different ways to get involved with the project:
If you’d like to join one of our focus groups to share your memories of Govanhill, leave your details below and we will be in touch when the dates are confirmed. The stories shared during these events will be preserved in a collaboratively designed mural that will sit in the heart of Govanhill, and in other forms in the next phase of the project. We will also gather ideas for the future of the project.
If you’d like to contribute in any other way, we believe collaborations with residents and partners will make this project even stronger.

Govanhill Open Museum is a collaboration under the Thriving Places initiative between Govanhill Community Development Trust, Govanhill Housing Association, Community Renewal, and Glasgow Museums.
