Survey for refugee claimants working in the essential services in Quebec
** A REFUGEE CLAIMANT (or asylum seeker) IS A PERSON THAT HAS APPLIED FOR REFUGEE STATUS IN CANADA.

This survey is an initiative of the TCRI, a non-profit, non-governmental organisation that provides services and rights advocacy for immigrant, refugee and non-status populations in Québec.

PARTICIPATION IN THIS SURVEY IS ANONYMOUS AND CONFIDENTIEL. NO INFORMATION REGARDING YOUR SPECIFIC SITUATION WILL BE DIVULGED TO ANY AUTHORITIES.

In the context of the current Covid-19 pandemic, thousands of migrant refugee women and men have been putting their lives at risk providing essential services to the general population.

This survey aims at documenting the realities of refugee claimants awaiting status in Quebec that have been working in essential services during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The information collected in this survey will be used in the context of our advocacy work to highlight the essential contribution of refugee claimants to Quebec society and to pressure the government to reform policies that discriminate and exclude this population.
