2025-2026 Volunteers/ Chaperones/ Mentors
We are always striving to improve our school safety and security.  If you are a volunteer, chaperone, mentor, or in the school/ classroom or on field trips with Telluride School District students, please complete the information below for a security check.  Thank you for your support.  Once you complete the form, we will re-run the check annually at the start of each school year.

Background checks are processed through the Colorado Bureau of Investigation through the Human Resources department.

“All Telluride District paid employees are required to complete a mandatory training module covering topics including Confidentiality and Mandatory Reporting.  As a volunteer, we want to make that module available to you as well. Although there is no legal requirement for volunteers to complete it, we encourage you to do so.  The module can be found here.”
