try! Swift Diversity Scholarship
try! Swift is about bringing together talent from all around the world to collaborate and share advanced knowledge and techniques to improve our craft as a community. The diversity scholarships support community members from traditionally underrepresented groups who may not otherwise have the opportunity to attend try! Swift for financial reason.
Thanks to our Sponsors
These scholarships are made possible by the generosity of our sponsors. Thank you Instagram, Meetup, Twitter, Technically Speaking, and Swift Studies.
If you or your company are able to sponsor additional scholarships, please contact us at
. There will be a lot more applicants than available scholarships and we would really appreciate your help.
Applicants must be 18 years old or older and must belong to a group that is underrepresented in the technology industry. This includes (but is not limited to) any person identifying as a woman, person of color, LGBTQIA+, or person with disabilities who is unable to attend without some financial assistance.
Scholarship recipients will receive a complimentary try! Swift NYC ticket. Please note that travel expenses are not covered under this scholarship and are the responsibility of the scholarship recipient. Breakfast, lunch, and snacks will be provided to all conference attendees during the conference.
Scholarships are awarded based on combination of need and impact on the individual and the community as communicated in the application.
To apply for a scholarship, just fill out our online scholarship application (click Next) by Friday, June 17th. All applicants will be notified of their application’s status by Friday, June 24th.
Please note that your information will be treated with the utmost privacy. We will not publicly announce who the diversity scholarships go to (although you're welcome to say so yourself).
