2026 Southern Utah Book Festival Volunteer Interest Form

Help make the 2026 Southern Utah Book Festival a success!

The Southern Utah Book Festival (Oct 5–10, 2026) is a community-wide celebration of literature and a part of the statewide Utah Humanities Book Festival. We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit dedicated to bringing free, inclusive, literary events to Cedar City.

We can’t build this program without our community. Please use this form to let us know your availability.

Key Details:

  • Availability: Most events occur Saturday, Oct 10th, but there are school and community visits on Friday, Oct 9th and other events in the evenings throughout the week starting October 5th 2026.

  • Timeline: Scheduling begins this summer. You will be notified of your specific role approximately 30 days before the festival.

This is definitely not required, since there's going to be a lot to do that'll keep volunteers on site—we just need to know who might be able to get to off-site events.
