Celebrate the right to read with the Valley Cottage Library’s Banned Books Week Read-a-Thon and the reveal of our Banned Books Trading Cards.
From 1-6pm we will have members of our community reading aloud from books that have been banned or challenged.  Books will be read in 5 minute increments. Sign up for the desired age group and/or genre below (scroll to see all five). 
Each community member that participates by reading will be entered into a raffle for banned books goodies.

We ask that participants limit their sign-ups to 1 per age group and/or genre. 

At 6:00pm, after the community member readings, we will reveal the Banned Books Trading Cards followed by readings from the artists, light snacks, and announcements of the raffle winners.

Trading card decks will be available for purchase.
