Thursday 8th July 10:30 - 12:00
Our Topic this month is "Exploring Solids" for most babies, sometime around 6 months they are ready to explore other foods alongside thier milk. What signs do we look for to knwo when babies are ready? What are some good first foods? What if my baby isn't interested? This change can bring lots of questions, so bring them all along.

We're meeting at Avonmouth community centre. We have a room booked in the centre and access to the centre's garden if the weather is nice.

Social Distancing
All those attending will be required to maintain 2m social distancing at all times. This includes any children who may be attending with you. We know this may be especially difficult for those of you with mobile babies and toddlers. We'll aim to priorities your questions at the start of the meeting so that you are able to leave if it becomes necessary.

Face coverings
While we are indoors we ask that all those who are able to wear a face covering.

NHS test & trace
On arrival, please sign in with the community centre, using the NHS app or leave your contact details with them. We will also maintain our LLL register. Should you recived a positive test within 48 hours of the meeting please let us know.

As with any of our LLL meetings this is an opportunity for you all to learn from each other's experiences. Just as we have with our online meetings, leaders will be there to offer information and support. However, with the restrictions of social distancing, detailed 1:1 questions may still be more appropriate for a phone/video chat with a leader where you can be in a more private space.

Meeting places
We are limited as to how many places we can offer at this meeting.

Please book a place for yourself and any carer or child over 5 who needs to accompany you. You are of course able to bring along your baby/babies, and do not need to book a place for them.

We recognise that some mothers experiencing breastfeeding difficulties have no alternative childcare, so can only attend with their toddler. Please be aware that as it can be very tricky to ensure social distancing with toddlers, if you are attending with a mobile toddler as well as a baby, we may have to prioritise supporting you with your breastfeeding issue so that you are free to leave if they are wanting to explore in other people's space.
How many places do you need to book ? *
As places are limited if you need to cancel for any reason please let us know by contacting so that we can offer the place to someone else.
Contact details
Please provide your name, phone number and email address. We will keep these for a minimum of three weeks in case we are required to provide attendance details to NHS Test and Trace service. By booking a place at our meeting you are consenting to us using your data in this way.
