Proposed Amendments to the Australian Fish Names Standard January 2020

The FRDC Fish Names Committee invites feedback from interested stakeholders regarding 7 proposed amendments to the Australian Fish Names Standard following the last FNC meeting (FNC 36). These proposed amendments include 6 additions and one change to an existing species in the Australian Fish Names Standard
FRDC is an accredited Standards Development Organisation and as per international standards setting practices, a public consultation process of a minimum of ten weeks is being conducted. Your feedback will assist the Fish Names Committee to ensure that the agreed names are in the best interests of stakeholders.
Public consultation is a key part of the Australian Fish Names Standard process. The Fish Names Committee uses your feedback to determine whether there is widespread support for a proposed name
