KUSD LCFF/LCAP Stakeholder Survey

In 2013, California adopted a new formula for deciding how funding is distributed to school districts, called the Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF).

The LCFF requires that districts develop, with feedback from parents, students, staff and other stakeholders, a Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) that describes our vision for students, goals and specific actions and resources the district will use to achieve these goals.

The LCAP will align to eight priorities set forth by the California State Board of Education and include goals related to local priorities. The following list includes the State's 8 Priority areas required in a district's Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP).
