Please fill out the registration below in order to sign up for the Spring 2019 FSA ELA Retakes. The FSA ELA Retakes include BOTH the Writing and Reading sections. The FCAT 2.0 is no longer being administered. If you need a passing score on the FCAT 2.0 Reading to meet your high school graduation requirement, you will need to earn the concordant score on either the FSA ELA or the SAT or ACT. Please note that the SAT and ACT are run by those companies and you must contact them to register.
You MUST be present for ALL sessions in the group for which you register in order to receive a score. If you are not present for the FSA ELA Writing, you will not be permitted to attend the FSA ELA Reading sessions. There will not be make up sessions scheduled. If you have questions regarding the scores needed to earn your diploma, please contact either your last high school you attended (Guidance Department) or contact firstname.lastname@example.org in the district office.
Students must have a government issued picture ID (drivers licence, passport, etc.) in order to be admitted to the test.
Please note that you must follow all the rules for testing. The State has a strict electronic device policy. Students will not be permitted to have any electronic device anywhere within reach during testing. If they are found with any electronic device, whether they used it or not, their test will not be scored. They will be required to place their phones and other electronic devices in a designated collection location during testing and will not be able to access until they have completed testing.
The School District of Palm Beach County implemented a comprehensive Tobacco Free Environment Policy (7.19). This comprehensive 100% tobacco free policy became effective on July 1, 2012. This policy prohibits ALL tobacco use by everyone, everywhere on School District property (facilities, grounds and vehicles), at all times; including school events after regular school hours.
Scores will be returned via mail to the mailing address you provide on this registration. Scores generally take 6-8 weeks from testing to be returned, but could take longer.
