MNDAPE Allen Burton Leadership Award

In 2002, this award was created and named after Allen Burton, long time friend of DAPE in Minnesota and many DAPE teachers around all 11 regions. We believe Allen continues to touch the lives of students and teachers and we honor his memory through this award.  The MNDAPE Leadership Committee requests that teachers from each region of the state have input on selection of the award recipient. Please think about who you think is deserving of this prestigious award.

Eligibility: The purpose of the award is to honor and recognize the outstanding efforts and contributions given to students with disabilities by a DAPE teacher of elementary, secondary, or higher education.  

DUE DATE:   June 15th

Award winner receives a plaque and is recognized at the annual MNDAPE conference.
