As part of the chapter application process, you must select at least 3 volunteer officers. You must also submit a charter, with basic information on frequency/details of elections for officers, proposed events and projected budget. While you will have access to the member center for contacting your chapter members, you should also establish digital communications (e.g. listserv, Twitter, LinkedIn). Supporting materials may be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Once materials are submitted and your new chapter is accepted, contacts will receive a confirmation email as well as personalized logos and oSTEM email addresses where applicable. Your chapter will then be added onto the ostem.org website under our chapters page and considered "Active".
