New Member Inquiry for DC Weightlifting Club
We are a club comprised of DC professionals -- roughly 50% each men and women. Our current roster is pretty full at 25 athletes, but there's always room to consider new enthusiasts. Members come to practice ready to train hard, and we get along very well.
* Compete in 2 meets a year (includes developmental meets)
* USAW membership before first competition
* Attend practice regularly (3-4 times per week)
Your experience level in weightlifting (snatch and clean and jerk)?
New athlete - 6 months or less
Experienced lifter - 1-2 years
Experienced competition athlete - 2+ years
Male Wt Class (competition)
Female Wt Class (competition)
Tell us about yourself. i.e. What brought you to DC? Do you have weightlifting competition experience? What sport(s) did you a participate in as an athlete?
We like to get to know the new people who lift with us.
