On April 8, 2024, at 3:06 pm, a total solar eclipse will be completely visible throughout the continental United States. The sun, moon, and earth will align. The city is planning a weekend-long party with gatherings, films, games, special performances, lectures and more to celebrate. Indy's eclipse events include activations at White River State Park, the world's largest children's museum, the Indianapolis Museum of Art at Newfields and an official NASA viewing site at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
