Simchat Torah 5781 with the Beis Community
All are welcome to join our community as we celebrate this year's completion of the Torah reading cycle!

Highlights include:
- The return of Torah Toasts™
- Parallel Torah readings by men and women, where everyone can be called up to the Torah
- Relaxing communal picnics

We'll be gathering at different times at the Beis, Bennett Park, and Fort Tryon Park, but we'll always have good people, good vibes, and good times. Let us know (naima@beiscommunity.com) if you have any questions or ideas!

With love,
The Beis Team

Simchat Torah (Tuesday-Wednesday)
Simchat Torah starts Tuesday night, September 28 -- we'll be meeting in Bennett Park
After 6pm Mincha, we'll have an hour of Torah learning.
Then starting at 7:15pm we'll bring in the holiday with prayers, dancing, and Torah Toasts ™. Torah Toasts is a chance for people (everyone!) to go around and share something about how Torah plays a role in your life. We'll also join to celebrate with a few neighboring synagogues!

Morning services will take place at Bennett Park from 9:30am-1:30pm on Wednesday. There will be dancing, there will be parallel men and women's Torah readings with opportunities for everyone who wishes to be called up to the Torah in a socially distanced manner. We'll also have Kiddush in the park, and special honors for 4 people who help carry our community.

Following services we will have a catered communal picnic at Fort Tryon Park at 2pm. If you are attending the lunch but not services, you can meet us at the Beis at 1:30pm to walk over together. At the end of the park we'll pray mincha (afternoon prayers), and we won't be gathering for ma'ariv.
