ICT Entrepreneurship & Development Award
Nominations are sought for organisations that have assisted SMME’s in the ICT sector to attain access to markets and customers and assisted in ensuring the sustainable development of ICT sector SMME’s. The nominee must display tangible examples of any or all of the criteria below.
The nominee strives to empower SMME’s through:
Initiatives aimed at educating, mentoring and otherwise assisting these businesses to grow and access various markets
Procurement practices that enable ICT sector SMME’s to be appointed as preferred suppliers.
Has introduced service offering(s) that enable SMME’s of any sector to attain access to ICT tools to advance their business interests and grow their business. The organisation must be in operation for a minimum of 2 years.
The nominee will be judged on revenue growth, resilience (meeting challenges in market place) and recognition for excellence.
ICT Innovator Award
Nominations are sought for noteworthy organisations that have embraced the digital age and created novel ways of ensuring better connectivity and access to the internet, or for the use of ICT tools within South Africa.
Has introduced and developed a unique technological innovation which has advanced South Africa’s ICT industry.
Is a thought leader who has developed solutions to advance the accessibility, availability and use of ICT tools within society.
Future Leader Award
The successful nominee will be an individual between the ages of 18 and 35 who has made a significant contribution and impact in the ICT sector. This individual displays leadership and an active interest in advancing ICT usage and accessibility.

An individual who has created opportunities for youth to utilise ICT tools to better their lives.
A thought leader who has embraced technology and constantly makes use of it to inform others of its uses.
Women in ICT Award
Nominations are invited for a woman leader who has championed the advancement of other women in the ICT sector and is recognised for her contributions towards advancing the ICT sector in South Africa.
Is an industry leader who has helped to break the gender barriers in the ICT sector.
Has contributed generally towards advancing the ICT sector in South Africa.
Has encouraged women to pursue careers in ICT.
ICT Disabled/Enabled Award
Nominations are sought for an organisation that has developed an ICT product or service that empowers persons with disabilities.

The nominee is an individual who has demonstrably transformed the ICT Sector for the better over the course of a long career.
The nominee is a well-renowned individual as acknowledged by his/her industry peers.
