Fundraising Committee: Join a group of dedicated volunteers to help plan fundraising activites. (3-5 hours/month)

50th Anniversary Committee: Help execute our 50th Anniversary Celebrations September 13, 2024

Finance Committee: AdHoc monthly review of funding requests and recommendation at SPG meeting;(2-4 hours/month)

Volunteer Coordinator: Liaise with SPG, student groups, staff to request volunteers from the community using Sign Up Genius.

Zoom/Tech Guru: Manage Zoom and tech equipment at SPG general meetings (5:30-8PM, second Tues of month x 9 months)

Student Recruitment: Work with Steller Staff to plan new student recruitment strategies. Main focus is January & February.

General Volunteer: If you are willing to help out on an ad-hoc basis for events and activities.

Webmaster: Assist in migrating SPG website to a new host, updating themes and plugins, and possible redesign. One time effort.

Steller Parent Group Meetings - No Signup Necessary!

ALL PARENTS, STUDENTS, AND STAFF ARE ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND and are entitled to vote at meetings to help shape our school. Steller Parent Group meets the second Tuesday of each month from 6-7:30 PM during the school year by both Zoom and in person. Zoom links will be posted at https://www.stellerschool712.org/main/steller-parent-group-meetings/ prior to the meeting.

ASD Volunteer Application

The Anchorage School District requires all volunteers to apply to volunteer each school year. Please fill out their application form here. It can take 2-3 weeks to approve so we encourage you to complete the application even if you are considering volunteering so that you can spontaneously volunteer!
