These free, beginner classes at Kramden Institute will help you learn about computers, word processing and other office programs, the Internet, and social media. Our classes focus on practical skills that will help you use a computer at home, school, or work.
These classes are for adults with little or no computer experience. Ages 18 and up.

March 25 - Computer BasicsHow your computer works and how to use its basic programs.
April 1 - Office ProgramsUsing office programs for word processing, spreadsheets, and presentations. We use LibreOffice, a free alternative to Microsoft Office.
April 8 - Internet BasicsConnecting to and using Internet sites and email.
April 15 - Social Media and Smart SharingUsing social media sites, keeping your info private, and how to be safe and secure online.
If you attend all four classes, you will receive a free refurbished desktop computer system at the last class. If you miss a class, you are welcome to make it up at a later date to receive the computer.
