A Safe Restart for UW–Madison: Survey and Pledge
Over the summer, UW–Madison announced plans to require students and employees to return to campus. The broad plan is called “Smart Restart”, and UW–Madison administration claims to have taken feedback from students, parents, and faculty– though they have yet to cite any source or survey directly.

In the spirit of shared governance and democratic decision-making, this survey is designed (1) to identify the most pressing concerns for those who are affected by UW–Madison's current plans for reopening campus and (2) determine what steps we are willing to take to create a better UW–Madison. This survey is for all students, workers, and community members to answer to the best of their ability. The statements you provide will not be publicized unless we have your permission to do so; even in those circumstances, we can work with you to anonymize your feedback.

This survey is designed and hosted by the Teaching Assistants' Association of UW–Madison, the labor union for all graduate workers on campus. We will ask before providing any of your information to other organizations.
