Smash Fest 2020 Performer Nominations
Smash Fest—Vancouver's women in comedy festival—was so much fun last year, we're doing it again. Mark your calendars: we're back at the Biltmore and Little Mountain Gallery January 23 to 25, 2020.
This time around, we're taking nominations and recommendations from you about who we should invite to this year's lineup: tell us which Vancouver-based comedians you'd like to see on this year's lineup, or throw your own hat in the ring for consideration.
All improv, standup, sketch, video, musical or other comedic performers are welcome in this nomination process, as long as they identify as women/trans/femme/non-binary (and are going to make us laugh, duh).
Below, please toss in your picks for who you want to see in our 2020 festival. We'll evaluate nominations based on sneaky scouting, reviewing any videos or materials and collecting feedback from the comedy community. We wish we could invite everyone to participate but there are only so many hours of programming we can fill this year... so even if we can't book you or your favourites this year, know that we still love and appreciate everything you're giving (as a performer or audience member) to the city year 'round.
Lineup to be announced in November at some point!

Smash Comedy Fest is produced by Nasty Women Comedy. Questions? Concerns? Drop us a line at
Who would you like to see at the festival? (It can be yourself, an individual you love, or a whole troop, yowzaaa!)
What kind of comedy does the nominee do? (Improv, music, hardcore clowning, comedic stock-car racing...)
Where might we see them performing in Vancouver over the next few months?
If you've got a video clip, website, social media profiles, articles or anything else to share, put the link(s) right here!
How can we get in touch with this comedian?
What's your name and email? (If different from above)
Can we add you to our email list with info about the festival? We won't share with anyone else, promise.
Besides adding your favourite comedians to the lineup, is there anything else we can do to make this year's festival better than ever? (eg: more workshops, earlier show times, more robust selection of Hey Y'all flavours...)
