2018 - 2019 WVHS Band/Choir London Trip Interest Survey
SUBMITTING A FORM ONLY SHOWS YOU'RE INTERESTED. IT DOES NOT COMMIT YOU TO ANYTHING. A CONTRACT WILL BE HANDED OUT IN THE FUTURE, THAT WILL BEGIN THE PAPER WORK PROCESS. AGAIN THIS IS ONLY AN INTEREST SURVEY.

Dear Parent/Guardian/WVHS Staff,

Our Band/Choir Students are anxiously awaiting the formal invitation to the 2019 Lord Mayor's New Year's Day Parade in London, England. We believe that this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for our band/choir members and families to visit a foreign country at a reasonable price and to participate in a world-class event, comparable to the Macy's Thanksgiving or Rose Bowl Parades

The London trip 2 years ago cost $3500 per person and has increased a little each year. (The price may vary depending on the value of the American dollar and gas prices). We would expect it to be a little bit more due to the pattern of the previous trips.

The trip includes:
-A comprehensive travel insurance policy
-transfers to and from the airport by luxury coach
-air fare to and from Atlanta on a major airline
-six nights' accommodation in a centrally located first-class hotel in London
-breakfast and dinner each day
-half day city of London tour on a luxury motor coach with a Blue Badge Guide
-a day and a half of tours and entrance in to Oxford, Windsor, Greenwich, and the Tower of London
-New Year's Eve celebration for the group
-a full-time resource staff person to look after the group
-specially struck London Parade Festival medals
-photograph of the group taken during the parade
-free time on your own (Students must be in a group with an adult) to explore all the sites of London

The trip would begin sometime between December 26-28, 2018 from Atlanta and return to Atlanta on January 2 - 4, 2019 (a total of 6 nights).

This questionnaire needs to be completed by Wednesday, September 20.

**The trip will have to be approved by the school board. This is only a survey.
