The Community Development Field Calendar is a shared platform for trainings, conferences, webinars, and events that strengthen collaboration and learning across the field. Submitting your event helps connect practitioners with timely, relevant opportunities.
Events must align with the Field Calendar’s mission and meet the following eligibility criteria:.
- Complete Information: Events must include all essential details—event title, date, time, location (or virtual link), and a brief description.
- Broad Accessibility: Events should be open to the public or to a wide range of community development professionals, rather than limited to invite-only or closed audiences.
- Field Relevance: Events must focus on topics central to community development—such as housing, economic revitalization, advocacy, urban planning, or professional training.
- Educational or Networking Value: Submissions should offer clear value through training, learning, or professional connection. Events primarily designed to sell a product, service, or membership will not be included.
- Approved Submitters: Events must be submitted by Alliance members or include the appropriate donation ($25 for non-members).
Submissions are typically reviewed within 3–5 business days.
