Montréal International, via son projet "Je choisis Montréal" visant la rétention des étudiants internationaux dans le Grand Montréal, souhaite organiser un événement de réseautage/recrutement mettant en relation des start-ups qui ont des besoins en main-d’œuvre avec des étudiants internationaux qui sont à la recherche d’un emploi ou d’un stage. Montréal International collabore avec le Desjardins Lab, Montréal NewTech, et Real Ventures pour faire le lien avec les start-ups intéressées. Montréal International fera la promotion de l’événement et des postes offerts auprès des établissements d’enseignement et des étudiants internationaux.
 
Voici davantage d’informations sur l’événement proposé :
 Date : Mardi 27 mars 2018
 Heure : 17h30 à 19h30 (ou 17h30-20h30 - à confirmer)
 Lieu : Desjardins Lab
 Nombre de start-ups invitées : 10-15
 Nombre d’étudiants invités : 100
 
Profil des étudiants internationaux : encore aux études, diplômés dans quelques mois ou récents diplômés, à priori dans des programmes en génie/informatique/TI et en administration (à déterminer en fonction des besoins des start-ups)
 
Types d’emploi offerts par les start-ups : emplois à temps partiel et temps plein ET stages, postes juniors, en génie/informatique/TI et en administration (à déterminer en fonction des besoins des start-ups). La promotion à l’avance des postes offerts par les start-ups parmi nos contacts, listes de diffusions et media sociaux permettra de mieux cibler les candidats potentiels. L’importance du bilinguisme (français et anglais) sera à confirmer par les start-ups.

Number of start-ups: 10-15
Number of students: 100
 
Profile of international students: still studying, graduating in a few months or recent graduates, in programs in engineering / computer sciences / IT and administration (TBC - when we’ll receive start-ups’ job positions)
 
Types of jobs offered by start-ups: part-time and full-time jobs AND internships, junior positions, in engineering / computer sciences / IT and administration (TBC – when we’ll receive start-ups’ job positions). We will be promoting the job positions in advance to better target potential candidates through our contacts, mailing lists and social media. The importance of bilingualism (French and English) will have to be confirmed by start-ups.
