1-on-1 Basketry Lessons Interest Form!
Thank you for your interest in our private basketry lessons program.

Applications submitted throughout the year are reviewed in the winter months for scheduling out the following summer. I.e. Summer 2026 lessons were scheduled out in December '25 and January '26. If you fill out the form at other times of the year, you will automatically be added to a waitlist that will get notified about upcoming openings in the lessons schedule.

I respond to applications that demonstrate thoughtfulness, flexibility, ability to attend to detail, and who we feel would be a good fit to spend a stretch of time with us at the farm. I also consider practical factors like schedule compatibility, proximity to the farm, lodging and other needs, skill level, and whether project goals are compatible with my teaching.

WORK EXCHANGE
If not applying for work trade, you can skip to the end of this form.
Are you applying for work exchange for your study? If so, full or partial?
Clear selection
Work trade positions are very limited - usually one person per 6 month period, and only during April-May and September-November. If work trade is not possible for your lessons slot, are you still interested in lessons?
Clear selection
The work exchange is a temporary employment arrangement. Please share any experience you have with farming, manual labor, or other relevant skills. Work traders must be prepared for long days of hard work outdoors in rough, cold terrain.
If applying for a Full Work trade position and on-farm housing, please provide 2 references we can get in contact with. Since we will be living and working together for a prolonged period, this option may require references and an interview.
I have read the full details about how the work exchange, accommodations, cancellation policy for lessons, and other information provided.
