TERRITORIES :: DIALECTS / TRACES FROM THE ANTHROPOCENE: WORKING WITH SOIL / CEMETERY ARCHIPELAGO
MATERIAL ENCOUNTERSA two-day programme, including a concert-lecture that showcases the outcomes of a residency period, during which musicians and ceramists worked side-to-side forming a parallel discussion of musical and gestural rhythms. The audience is welcomed to work with local clay. The event also includes discussions and presentations on materiality, archipelagic thinking, and the intertwined relationship between humans and soil.
Researchers, guests and visitors of the pavilion are invited to join in the event. Registration is recommended to help us take care of the space and refreshments. Some of the events in the program may require limiting the number of participants. The event is free. You are welcome to participate in one, several or all of the scheduled events.
