We need to be on site at the Hebron Baptist Church at 7:00 AM to setup the Pop-up Tent, Tripods with poles and flags. We should be done by 1:00 PM
While there is a lot that goes on behind the scenes, we make this all look easy because we simply communicate what needs to be done with all eyes and ears on the same goal/channel. Our goal/mission in simple terms, we line up the participants (vehicles, floats, marching bands, groups, tractors, and horses) so they leave the church parking lot in an orderly, safe manor, and in the correct order so each group is announced as they pass the Announcing Stand. We arrive early, 7:00 AM, to setup the pop up tent, the portable repeater, and tripod makers with flags so we can direct the participants to the correct part of the parking lot to get lined up.
Where comfortable shoes and clothing; please bring and wear your yellow safety vest, and GARS Mission Hat. We have FREE Mission Hats for new volunteers.
Please program your HT to the Portable Repeater frequency and tone, 147.045 (Minus Offset) PL 82.5 If you don’t have an HT don’t let that stop you. We will have you shadow somebody with an HT.
We need an accurate volunteer head count as we are feed Chick-fil-A breakfast biscuits and coffee.
