ANYTHING that was NOT done at school or during school hours COUNTS as volunteering!
Volunteer hours play a significant role in evaluating a school's performance and overall success. By understanding the types of volunteer work and the number of hours dedicated, schools can identify their needs and prioritize accordingly. The unique skills and time commitment of volunteers can help shape program strategies, resources, schedules, and other factors to create a learning environment that encourages student success.
